UTILITY LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (ULID) S-21

PROJECT UPDATE (JUNE 8, 2005)

The Mallard Bay Lift Station ULID S-21 project includes the construction of a wet/dry well facility to include the installation of two 30hp sewage pumps and associated piping, a 22-foot by 40-foot CMU building to house the control room, odor control equipment, and relocated emergency generator, site work to include landscaping, security fencing, stormwater detention and treatment facilities, and associated surface restoration.

The project has been awarded to Hisey Construction, Incorporated. The contactor has installed the emergency overflow structure and the 25-foot deep wet/dry well structures. The backfilling process around the structures is underway and should continue throughout the month. The next tasks for completion are the installation of the site piping, flow meter vault, and two rock catch manholes.
