| REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS The Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District (District) is seeking statements of qualifications (SOQs) from consultants for its 2008-2009 roster, from which the District may select consultants with the qualifications and experience necessary to perform District projects. Consultants may be selected for the work directly from the roster, or shortlisted for interviews. Certain special projects may be advertised separately. Consultant services may include design, design review, and/or services during construction for: water and sewer main improvements, developer extensions, water booster pump stations, sewage lift stations, water storage reservoirs, water treatment facilities (corrosion control, disinfection, fluoridation, iron and manganese removal, taste and odor control, etc.), sewage odor and corrosion control, pressure reducing valve stations, telemetry, HVAC, mechanical systems for water and sewer facilities, electrical/instrumentation, buildings, and retaining walls. Other services may include geographic information systems services, computer programming, geotechnical evaluations, surveying, infiltration/inflow evaluation and design services, flow monitoring, property appraisals, landscape/irrigation system design, environmental evaluations, permitting assistance, and public involvement/education. The District serves approximately 15,500 water and 9,500 sewer customers on the Sammamish Plateau and adjacent areas. Currently, the District obtains its water from groundwater and from the regional surface water system. The District has treatment facilities for corrosion control, iron and manganese removal, control of hydrogen sulfide odors, chlorination and fluoridation. The District collects and conveys sewage, and operates numerous sewage lift stations, most requiring odor control systems. Consultants shall complete and submit the attached PDF form entitled “2008-2009 Consulting Roster Information Form” as the first page of their SOQ. Brief descriptions of personnel’s experience, relevant projects, and references shall be included in the SOQ. The SOQ shall be limited to ten single-sided pages, including completed Roster Information Form but excluding resumes and project fact sheets. Submit five (5) copies of your SOQ before 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2008 to: The District may waive any informalities or irregularities in the SOQ and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all SOQs, including the right to award projects in whole or in part if it is deemed in the District’s best interests.
