- The District provides education programs in area schools, and teachers can register their classes for these free programs.
- The annual Sammamish Watershed Festival is an outdoor educational water festival for area fourth grade students.
- We also offer public presentations on a variety of topics including waterwise gardening and natural yard care, and District staff have also attended area festivals and fairs.
- The District has a Water Shortage Response Plan to respond to water shortage situations such as drought or water emergencies.
- Five District sites are listed as Certified Wildlife Habitats with the National Wildlife Federation.
