COMPREHENSIVE WASTEWATER PLAN

November 3, 2003

Dear Plan Reader;

This is the Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District’s October 2003 Draft Wastewater Comprehensive Plan for distribution (Plan). This Plan has been approved by the District’s Board of Commissioners in October 2003 and reflects the wastewater plans, policies and regulations of the District.

The Plan is being distributed to several public agencies for review and is also available to the public for review. The public agencies will be reviewing the plan to ensure it is in compliance with their land use plans and regulations. Modifications to the Plan may be made, if necessary, to bring the Plan into compliance.

After compliance has been verified, the City of Sammamish, City of Issaquah, King County and the Washington State Department of Ecology will be asked to approve the Plan. The Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District Board of Commissioners will then affirm their adoption of the Final Wastewater Comprehensive Plan.

Comments will be accepted until December 30, 2003, and may be delivered or sent to the District:
