1987 Pre-Design Report and Amendment to Comprehensive Wastewater Plan
The 1987 Wastewater Comprehensive Plan updated a 1983 Plan and included evaluation of wastewater plan alternatives of major facilities that would allow expansion of the Districts sewer service area. The plan considered areas identified by King County as urban or transitional, and used the East Sammamish Community Plan as modified by the 1985 King County Comprehensive Plan as a basis for demand projections.

October 1987 Amendment to Comprehensive Wastewater Plan

1994 Amendment to the Comprehensive Wastewater Plan
The 1994 Amendment to the Wastewater Comprehensive Plan allowed sewer service to a public school located in the rural area, directly adjacent to the urban area. Following adoption of this amendment Endeavor Elementary School was constructed in the rural area by the Issaquah School District, and connected to the District’s sewer system using a tightline.

2003 Wastewater Comprehensive Plan - Draft
This Wastewater Comprehensive Plan is a full update, considering all aspects of providing sewer service to the urban areas of the District. The plan considers land use regulations within three jurisdictions, Unincorporated King County, the City of Sammamish and the City of Issaquah. The Plan evaluates the District’s future sewer service area boundaries, policies for accommodating growth of the sewer system, land use and associated flow projections, and develops a planning level conceptual layout for the construction of sewers, pump stations and sewage collection facilities.

This Wastewater Comprehensive Plan is considered a draft document with final document preparation underway.
