WASTEWATER COMPREHENSIVE PLANS
1987 Pre-Design Report and Amendment
to Comprehensive Wastewater Plan
The 1987 Wastewater Comprehensive Plan updated a 1983 Plan and included
evaluation of wastewater plan alternatives of major facilities that would
allow expansion of the Districts sewer service area. The plan considered
areas identified by King County as urban or transitional, and used the
East Sammamish Community Plan as modified by the 1985 King County Comprehensive
Plan as a basis for demand projections.

2003 Wastewater Comprehensive Plan
- Draft
This Wastewater Comprehensive Plan is a full update, considering all aspects
of providing sewer service to the urban areas of the District. The plan
considers land use regulations within three jurisdictions, Unincorporated
King County, the City of Sammamish and the City of Issaquah. The Plan
evaluates the District’s future sewer service area boundaries, policies
for accommodating growth of the sewer system, land use and associated
flow projections, and develops a planning level conceptual layout for
the construction of sewers, pump stations and sewage collection facilities.
This Wastewater Comprehensive Plan is considered
a draft document with final document preparation underway.
